Reviewing Process
Tuskegee Cooperative Extension Publication (TUCEPU)
The reviewing process for the TUCEPU is a four-step process:
1. The author submits the scholarly/outreach document.
2. The scholarly/outreach document is reviewed by one of the technical editors and/or the editors to ascertain if it follows basic guidelines to merit further review.
3. If judged to meet basic guidelines, then the document is assigned to one or two peer reviewers to blindly undergo review.
4. Upon the recommendations of the reviewers, the editors will decide to accept the scholarly/outreach work document as is, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject.
5. Results/outcome of the review is communicated to the author
